One option is to expose the glasses to hot steam. Thoroughly dry them off with a microfiber cloth. Then, gently bend the frames back to their proper shape while they’re still warm. Another method, which is generally considered to be better, is to heat the plastic glasses in hot sand before trying to reshape them.

How can I straighten my glasses at home?
OPTION 2: STRAIGHTENING GLASSES
- Turn the hair dryer on low heat and hold it about 5 inches away from the nose bridge of the glasses for about 15 seconds.
- Gently and slowly bend the frame inward so the temple arms are straight.
- Repeat this process as needed until the glasses fit properly.
Can warped sunglasses Be Fixed?
Place your glasses in this bowl of warm water, hold them under a stream of hot water, or use steam. They need to be exposed to the warmth for between 30 seconds and a minute. Once sufficiently heated, the glasses will be especially fragile. Hold the glasses steady as your thumbs make minor adjustments.
Why are my sunglasses crooked?
If your glasses look crooked or tilted heavily to one side, it is likely the result of crooked temple arms. One way to test the temple arms is to lay your eyeglasses upside down on a flat surface. Both of the temple arms should rest evenly on the flat surface. If they do not, you will need to adjust them.
How do you tighten glasses with a hair dryer?
For wire (metal) frame glasses
Use a hair dryer for 30 seconds to heat the part of the frame that goes over your ear. This part of the frame will soften. Bend the arm slightly (with gentle pressure) downwards to make it sit closer to your ear. This will give a snug fit.
