The comfiest winter boot isn’t going to do you any good if you aren’t warm in it, but luckily mukluks and minimalist boots use natural materials that are excellent at heat retention. Leather, furs, wool. There is a reason animal fibers are used because they provide the best warmth.

What is the temperature rating on your Mukluks? Our sheepskin-lined mukluks are considered one of the warmest winter boots for northern winters and are rated down to -32 degrees Celsius.

Can you wear mukluks outside?

Muk Luks® slippers are not designed for primary outdoor use. Our durable slipper outsoles are great for rougher indoor floors, or a quick stroll to the mailbox, or a quick midnight snack drive-thru. We appreciate that you might want to wear your slippers to the grocery store, however, we do not recommend it.

Do you wear socks with Manitobah Mukluks?

The insoles are washable so when I feel they need it, I toss ’em in the washer. If I’m doing some serious outdoor time in sub-zero I wear socks. Most people like socks and I can see from the responses above that people are wise to the best brands.

What are mukluks lined with?

LINING. Wherever melton is used it should be lined or backed with a firmly woven fabric like denim or commander (also known as poly-cotton poplin).

Are Muk Luks boots comfortable?
