Save the Children launched their Christmas Jumper Day in 2012 on Friday, 14 December. In 2020, Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day is on Friday 11 December. To take part people can register their workplace, school or group of family and friends on the Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day website.

I estimate that there are 36 days in the calendar year on which festive knitwear is appropriate – from the first day of Advent to the 12th day of Christmas on 5 January.
