How do I know my singlet size?
If you are between sizes or buying a singlet for a young fast growing wrestler, we would recommend moving up one size.

Do singlets run small?
Our singlets are manufactured from a stretch fabric, as such the sizing is quite forgiving. If in doubt, take the smaller size. However, athletes who are taller or shorter for their weight class are recommended to adjust up or down by one size respectively.

Should I size down singlet?
If you find yourself between sizing, always size down when it comes to singlets. All of the materials should have a decent amount of stretch; if the singlet feels tight when you first put it on, run through a couple of training sessions and you should feel it relax a little bit.

Do singlets help you squat?
For example, a lifter may try to wear a singlet with multiple layers of tight spandex that can add extra support to the hips, which can give the lifter an advantage in the squat. Wearing a single-ply singlet ensures that there’s a level playing field.
How do you wear a weightlifting singlet?
Importantly, it must be one piece and not a separate top and bottom. Further, it must not have a collar or cover the elbows or knees. It can also be any color. Most Weightlifting singlets fit tight to the body like a compression garment.
Does a singlet help you lift more?
In equipped competitions, the singlet (referred to as a squat suit) provides more support while lifting.
Can you wear a wrestling singlet for powerlifting?
No, you cannot wear wrestling singlets in powerlifting. Almost all wrestling singlets don’t follow the technical rules required by the International Powerlifting Federation. Even if you find a compliant design, the brand itself needs to be IPF-approved. The IPF doesn’t approve any wrestling singlet brands.
Is a size 6 medium or small?
S means small, which translates roughly to a women’s size 4 to 6 in most brands.

Why do guys wear singlets?
They are made from special materials that can absorb moisture, wick it away from your body, and still keep your outerwear dry. Men and women alike will often wear fitted undershirts in order to hide “lumps and bumps” under their clothing.
