Does Elfster cost money?
Elfster is a FREE Gift Exchange website to make gift-giving easier. Our Secret Santa Generator makes Christmas, holidays, and other Gift Exchanges extra joyful so you can spend less time organizing and more time celebrating.
Does Elfster reveal who got who?
Select the Show Draw button next to a person’s name to see who they drew. Select Show All Draws at the top of the participant list to see who everyone drew.
How do you send gifts on Elfster?
- Click on the Gift Exchange name from your home page.
- The next page will allow you to Mark as Sent or Received.
- If you are marking that you have sent your gift, you will have the ability to enter tracking or shipping information that will be sent to the recipient to let them know a gift is on the way.
Do you need an account to use Elfster?
Everyone needs to have their own Elfster account, but you can use the same email address for more than one person.
Who can see my address on Elfster?
Mailing addresses are only visible to people you are participating in a Gift Exchange with. Your organizer may also enable a privacy option or hide the invitee list so that only the person who drew your name will see your address.
How do you draw your name in Elfster?
Manually draw or Let Elfster Draw your names
- Go to your Gift Exchange page.
- Under the Organizer Menu, click “Settings”
- Check the “Do not draw names automatically after the sign-up date” box.
- Click “Draw Names Now” when you’re ready.
What happens when you draw names on Elfster?
Tap/Click “Draw Names” when you are ready to draw names. If there is more than one person, the latecomers will be assigned to each other and the rest of the assigned draws for your exchange will not change.
What happens when you poke to wish on Elfster?
The elves have got you covered! You can anonymously poke a friend to wish if their Wishlist is empty or you need more ideas than what they’ve added.
How do you look at someone’s Wishlist on Elfster?
? Note: If you just want to view a friend’s Wishlist, you can search for them by entering their full name or email address to view their Wishlist if it’s public or they’ve made it available to the groups you are in together.
How do you RSVP on Elfster?
Click on the link that you received from the host (either by email or a link from a text or social media). If you have an existing Elfster account and your host used the same name and email address of your account to invite you, the gift exchange will appear in your account. Click the image to RSVP.
Are Elfster messages Anonymous?
They are sent anonymously but keep in mind that the answer will appear in your group’s Activity Feed. You can use the suggested questions provided or create your own. When you send a question to someone, they will get a notification via email and also in their Elfster account.
Is there a limit on Elfster?
Our limit is set at 100 dinkles (that’s elf money). On Christmas we get together and exchange gifts with each other.
How do you accept an invitation on Elfster?
In the iOS and Android apps, tap the three dots to the right of the person’s name to reveal the accept option if available.
Does Elfster ship the gifts?
Wrap your gifts and send them on. Or, make it even easier by selecting items from their wish list and have the gifts shipped directly, so all you have to do is set a delivery date. Host a global party. Set up a video chat party to open your gifts and reveal your elfish identities; geography is no longer a limitation.
Is Elfster owned by Amazon?
It is available, without charge, as software as a service, via a website and via mobile apps for iOS and Android.

What time does Elfster draw names?
Need to know how names are drawn for the exchange? Names are drawn by the Elfster system automatically on the day after the date you have selected as your deadline to participate, unless you have selected to not have names drawn by Elfster.
How do I create a Wishlist on Elfster?
Click on Wishlists at the top of any Elfster page to go to your Wish Lists page. Start adding wishes!

How do I remove myself from Elfster?

- Select the group from your Groups page.
- At the top of the Group page, click on .
- Click on the text “My Group Settings” or the down arrow to the right of your name to expand your group detail information.
- To leave the group, click on Remove Me at the bottom right of this box.
