Will Build-A-Bear stuffing an animal not purchased at the store?
Build-a-Bear will restuff a stuffed animal that has come unstuffed. I read this in an online forum and was skeptical. The commenter suggested it is best to go during a slow time. The Twin Cities has two Build-a-Bear locations – Rosedale Mall and Mall of America.
Does Build-A-Bear charge for stuffing?
Build-A-Bear stuffed animals come plain, but they do include a small red heart that is added to the inside of the bear. There is also no extra charge for stuffing the animal.

Can you wash a Build-A-Bear?
If your furry friend requires more than a spot cleaning, place it inside a pillow case and knot the case closed. Then simply machine wash on the gentle cycle in cold water with mild soap and allow your furry friend to air dry.
Can you bring food to Build-A-Bear party?

Does Build-A-Bear do anything special for birthdays?
When you bring your child to a Build-a-Bear Workshop any time during their birthday month, you simply pay the dollar amount equivalent to their age for a birthday treat bear. You don’t have to go to the store on your child’s actual birthday — as long as you go sometime during their birthday month, you’re good to go.

Where do they put the scent in Build-A-Bear?
Your Build-a-Bear can smell like chocolate, bubblegum, or another scent. Walk past the sound machine and you will come to the stuffing machine. The scent disks hang in bags around the machine. Choose any you like before having your animal stuffed.
How do you make a Build-A-Bear fluffy again?
Select a hand brush with thin wires, like one you might use as a dog grooming brush. The thin wire bristles will quickly fluff up the fur. You will use left-to-right strokes followed by up and down strokes to return your teddy bear to its original fluffy softness.
