Does engraving a Rolex devalue it?
That kind of engraving ups the value of a watch a lot. So, unless you’re planning on being someone really famous, it’s 100% going to affect the resale value. Or you could get a modern watch in which case you find a replacement case back for, just in case.
Does Rolex do engraving?
Rolex made both black and white dial versions of the SAS Explorer II 216570, and all of the watches have caseback engravings that feature the regiment’s name (“22 Special Air Service”) with its famous winged dagger emblem, along with the unit’s motto (“Who Dares Wins”) engraved on the 9 o’clock side of the case.
Does Rolex engrave on the case back?
