Can a moth hole be repaired?
Luckily, moth holes may be easier to repair than you think. If the holes are particularly small, about 5 millimetres (0.20 in) wide or less, you can use fusible bonding web to close the hole. If the moth holes are larger, you can darn it, which means to mend a fabric hole by interweaving with a needle and thread.

Can Burberry trench coats get wet?
The short answer is no it’s not waterproof, however it is water resistant. The Burberry Trench Coat uses what is called a Gabardine cotton that is designed to protect against rain. This innovative cloth allows the trench to be water resistant, but not waterproof.

Press with an iron. Set your iron to the polyester/nylon setting and iron the wrinkles from the microfiber trench coat. If you don’t have a setting for nylon, use the coolest setting possible and place a thin cloth like a pillowcase between the iron and the microfiber trench coat.
Can I wash my trench coat?
Trench coats are often made out of machine-washable fabrics such as cotton, poplin, or polyester. Be sure to remove the lining and wash it separately from the shell. Use the delicate or handwash cycle, and avoid putting either piece in the dryer—especially if your coat is wool.

How do I know if moths are eating my clothes?

- Furrows, silky tunnels or trenches found on wool products, including clothing, blankets and rugs.
- Excessive shedding from furs.
- Patches of damage to wool rugs, especially in little-used areas of the rug.

How do you prevent moth holes?
Protect yourself from future infestations
Place suits, dresses, or other hanging clothes in garment bags, sealed and without holes (tape over any seams or joints). Avoid fabric containers, which moths can eat through. Airtight storage isn’t the only solution, though.
What deters moths?
Moths tend to dislike lavender and Cedar. Although lavender smells great to humans, it is highly repellent to insects like moths. Cedar is another great choice. Cedar masks the smell of natural fabrics and also gives clothing and linens a fresh, fragrant aroma.
How do you remove scuff marks?
Many fresh scuff marks can be removed by simply rubbing the mark with a slightly damp soft, white cloth. It’s always best to give it a try to avoid damaging paint. After dipping the cloth in water, apply a bit of pressure and, if the mark is removed, buff the area with a dry white cloth.
How do you remove scuff marks from leather?
To clean scuffs off of leather, patent leather, synthetic leather or rubber shoes, use toothpaste. Using a toothbrush and a dab of toothpaste, scrub the scuff marks. Apply a little water to help the toothpaste foam up, then continue scrubbing off the scuffs with circular movements.
