While theoretically you can shorten trousers indefinitely, we did not recommend going more than 20 cm. It will alter the trousers too high up and change the form. Between 6-11 cm is what most people removed at Suitsupply. As for lengthening, there is always some extra fabric allowing for up to 4-5 cm lengthening.
