What is a thermal sock?

Do heat holder socks really work?
They HOLD heat. I first put them on when my feet were cold and they couldn’t actually warm them up. However, when I put them on my warm feet straight out of bed, they hold the heat well all day. I was wearing 3 pairs of socks and still freezing my tootsies.
Are Heat holders any good?
Very warm and comfy! They are very thick though, so they may make it difficult to wear your normal boots/shoes unless you size up in your shoes so they can fit the super thick socks. Super nice to wear around the house on a chilly day though!

How does the TOG system work?
A tog is essentially a measure of how effectively a duvet insulates heat. The higher the tog rating, the warmer the duvet will be, with 1 tog being very cool and lightweight, and 15 being the warmest.
Is 1.0 TOG warm enough for winter?
If it stays in the recommended range of 68-72 degrees F then using a 1.0 TOG would be appropriate. If it is on the cooler side, then you will want a higher TOG rating; if it stays warmer than that, you will want a lower TOG rating.
