How do I know what size corset I need?
You’ll want to select a size that’s smaller than your natural waist* measurement. Our corsets should be up to 4″ smaller than your natural waist for beginners or up to 6″ smaller for more experienced corset wearers (and those with particularly squeezable midsections).

How do I measure my bust area?
Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your bust. To get the most accurate measurement, get a flexible plastic measuring tape and bring it around your torso to the fullest part of your breasts. Position the tape directly over your nipples and relax your arms at your sides.
How tight should a corset be?
It should be “snug” without any type of pinching, chafing, poking, or other uncomfortable sensations that make you want to rip the corset off with a vengeance. That’s not fun! Pulling too tight on the laces right away can hurt you and damage the corset, too.
How many inches does a corset take off your waist?
You can expect to loose the first 2-3 inches immediately just from putting on a waist training corset (this won’t be permanent when removing your corset for many months). You can expect to loose a further 1-2 inches within a few week/months. After that things slow down.
Where is a corset supposed to sit?
Your corset should sit just below your hip bones. To ensure this, it’s worth taking your torso measurement, from the centre of your hip bones up to your underbust.
Do you measure your bust size with or without a bra?
Stand upright without a bra on, and using a measuring tape, measure around your back and under your bust, where the band of a bra would usually sit. Make sure the tape is going around in a steady, even line. It should feel snug, but not tight.

Is it OK to wear a corset to sleep?
The medical community, such as the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, doesn’t generally support the use of waist trainers for any amount of time, much less at night. Reasons not to wear one while sleeping include: potential impact on acid reflux, hindering proper digestion.
How long should you wear a corset for the first time?
Don’t immediately start wearing your corset for 12 hours a day. Even when you’re advanced, you can get away with 6 to 8 hours a day and still see results. Latex waist-trainer experts recommend wearing them for 8 to 10 hours each day. Some people wear their steel-boned corsets for up to 23 hours a day.
What happens if you wear a corset to sleep?

Waist trainers can cause respiratory issues, or at the very least, they can impede correct breathing at night. That’s a pretty big issue if you think about it: you are sleeping so you aren’t quite feeling it directly, but then you wake up suddenly and are gasping for air.

Are you supposed to wear anything under a corset?
The most comfortable fabrics to be worn without anything underneath are mesh and cotton. If you don’t like the direct compression on your skin, you can always wear a light tank underneath your corset, and wear another top over that.

How do I know my cup size?
Measure loosely around the fullest part of your bust. Subtract the band size from this measurement. Use this number to determine your cup size according to the table below. Example: if your ribcage measurement is 31, and your bust measurement is 37, your bra size is a 34C: 31+3=34, so 34 is your band size.
How can I guess my cup size?
Find your cup size
Every inch difference between your band and cup measurement equals a cup size. For example, the first inch = A, second inch = B, the third inch = C and so on. If your bust measurement is 43, and your band measurement is 38, the difference is 5, giving you a bra size of a 38DD.
Are you supposed to add 4 inches to your band size?
Namely: the “add-four” method. Many major department stores and American retailers take the ribcage measurement and add four inches (or five if it’s an odd-number) to obtain the band size.
