- Login to Top Hat at go.osu.edu/tophat .
- Locate the course on your Top Hat home page, click Settings.
- The General Settings tab will open. Under Course Availability, select the button next to Available.
- Select Save Changes.

Do you have to pay to use Top Hat?
If you are enrolled in more than one Top Hat course that has the remote proctoring tool enabled, you will need to be pay for the Remote Proctored Exams item for each additional course.
How do I verify my Top Hat account?
The course search is limited by the school you pick when you sign up with Top Hat. To verify your current institution on a web browser, click on your name (top right-hand corner) and go to My Account to verify that you have the right school selected. Once done, go back to your Course Lobby and search again.
