Can you change the arms on Ray Bans?

The frame arm screw must be unscrewed. In acetate or plastic frames there is generally only one screw. Once our screws have been removed, it’s best to them leave in a safe place so that they do not roll away and then adjust the new temple.

All new Ray-Bans have a “RB” etched onto one lens (check the far left side of the left lens). On fakes the etching will either be missing or of poor quality. The “RB” etching should be crisp and etched, not painted on.

  3. Insert a dental tool through the hole on the hinge and extend the hinge as far out as it will go.
  4. Insert another dental tool into the slot behind the extended hinge to keep the hinge in place.
