One of the easiest and most common bra alterations involves changing the length of your bra band. If your band is too tight or too loose, but everything else fits, there is no need to change sizes. You only need to adjust the band. You may also want to make a length alteration to accommodate different fabrics.

Is there a way to make a bra band smaller?
If the band is too large there is an easy fix. First, determine how much the band needs to be decreased. Start by adjusting the bra to the smallest hook and eye setting. If that gives you a snug fit then you will be decreasing the band by 1″ (2.54 cm) total.
