Why is boots better than Superdrug?

Boots is better for make up, where as Superdrug usually has better offers on deodorant and shampoo. Also, the Boots Advantage Card is better (for me) than the Superdrug card most of the time, unless they have offers which bump up how many points you earn per pound.
