Who founded snag tights?
Inclusive fashion brand, Snag Tights are on a mission to change this. Their market research shows that 90% of women were unable to find tights that actually fit them. This was one of the driving reasons behind CEO and founder Brie Read’s decision to set up the brand.

WHEN Brie Read, founder and CEO of Snag, launched the e-commerce brand in 2018, with business partner Tom Martin, 48, she had no idea how successful it would be.

Where did snag tights originate?
It all started when Snags founder, Brie Read was walking down George Street, Edinburgh’s main shopping street, when her tights began to fall down. It was not just by a bit; they worked their way down to below the knees.
Can snag tights go in the dryer?
Tights and shorts can get caught in the drum of a washing machine, so always either hand wash or put them inside a pillow case or lingerie bag to protect them. Always squeeze dry, don’t tumble dry, and avoid direct heat as it degrades the stretch.
How long does it take for snag tights to arrive?

Can you return snag tights?
If you’re not 100% satisfied with any aspect of our product or service, you can return your unworn item to us within 28 days of purchase for an exchange or full refund, including your original shipping costs. How often should you wash your pantyhose?
On a positive note, we recommend you DON’T wash tights after every wear. Instead, you can wash sheer tights once every two wears, and thicker tights after every three wears. It’s also safe to hand wash several pairs of tights together and at the same time.
Should you wash new tights before wearing?
Tights should be washed before their first use and only as needed after that (usually every 2-3 wears or if they are obviously dirty). Since tights are so delicate, you don’t want to wash them more than is necessary as washing can wear down the fabric.
Are you supposed to wash tights?
Handwashing is the best and safest way to care for delicate tights and hosiery. This will protect the color and elasticity for as long as possible. Fill a wash basin or sink with tepid water and add two capfuls or a squirt of Delicate Wash. Soak for at least 30 minutes.
Are snag tights ethical?
Every time you buy Snag clothing, you can rest assured that they’re both ethical and environmentally friendly. CARE: Our leggings and skirts are machine washable at 30c.
Are snag tights true to size?
We recommend you size up from your regular size. That should take you through the pregnancy. If you’re a size F or G, stick with it as they’re super stretchy! Our clothing range was designed on a size 24 fit model and then fitted across several body shapes and sizes before being released.
What are anti snag tights?
Snag Tights are entirely plastic-free, and made sustainably and ethically in Italy, travelling by road to reach you. Snag also has a recycling program – meaning you can send any old or damaged Snag Tights back to be recycled and reused into permanent industrial components.
Is it okay to wear tights everyday?
For the most part, leggings are perfectly fine to wear daily as long as they are clean and dry. Problems come into play if you don’t change out of your sweaty leggings after hitting the gym.
Can you reuse pantyhose?
Water gardening: Fill pantyhose with a mixture of gravel and soil, and plant water lilies and other aquatic plants in them for your water garden. Tear a small whole in them so plants can grow freely but soil remains intact. Kitchen strainer: Use pantyhose instead of cheese cloth for straining foods in the kitchen.
Should you use fabric softener on tights?
Handwash all better tights and shorts to prevent damage in your washing machine and wash with similar colours; OR. Machine wash better products ONLY when inside a pillowcase or lingerie bag to protect them from damage. Do not use fabric softener when washing better products.

A pack of tights. But putting hosiery in the freezer is actually a brilliant style hack that can save you money, time and embarrassing stocking runs. Here’s how it works: The cold temps keep the individual fibers of the tights firm, which prevents runs from starting.
