All KEEN water sandals (both leather and polyester webbing upper) are machine washable on a gentle cycle, in cold water and with a mild detergent. Please allow to air dry. We’ve taken great care to develop leather uppers that will not crack, shrink, or stretch when washed.

KEEN water sandals are machine-washable on a gentle cycle, in cold water, and with a mild detergent. Instead of putting them in the dryer, simply allow them to air dry, preferably outside.

How do you get smell out of Keens?

Simply wash the footbed with mild soap and water. Allow time to dry. Some sandals, like Keens, can even be thrown into the wash on the cold cycle with a small amount of detergent and then set out to air dry, preferably in the sun.

Can Keens be worn in the water?

Can you put KEEN hiking boots in the washing machine?

After extended use, we recommend you remove the insole, wash by hand using a soft cloth and light detergent, and then let air dry without heat. Please do not machine-wash.
