Does Cricut vinyl wash off?

Machine wash in cold or warm water. Because HTV basically melts the adhesive into the cloth, we don’t want to re-melt the vinyl by putting it in very hot water. Cold or warm water works best. Dry on low heat.

No matter where you are buying it from make sure it is IRON ON if you are using a home iron. Some vinyl does not work with a home iron. IF USING A HOME IRON YOU NEED PARCHMENT PAPER!

The thermoadhesive layer needs time to crystallize and sink down into the fabric fibers. If you wash and dry too soon, there’s a good chance the HTV could peel or crack.
Can you use heat transfer vinyl on mugs?
I use heat transfer vinyl all the time for baby onesies in the Practically Functional shop, but I never thought to try it on anything other than fabric. Turns out HTV works great on ceramic mugs too! I wouldn’t put it through a dishwasher, but it will definitely hold up to a handwashing. Print it!
