The present Pepsi logo was created in 2008 when the company started revamping its brand as part of its global re-branding strategies. The company wanted to make the new logo look relevant to the consumers who had changed a lot since 1993.

The primary reason for this rebrand in 1936 was so that the logo would fit properly on the bottom of all the wooden toys Lego was making at the time. The brand name was italicized in fine lines. It was a very modest and straightforward logo, staying with the company for nearly a decade.
