How do you measure a flat waist?
Waist. To gauge your waist measurement, button the jean, lay it on a flat surface and remove any slack across the waistband by tugging both sides. Then measure across from the left midpoint of the waistband to the right midpoint. Measuring twice will produce better results.

How is flat width measured?
To measure flat width:
Lay the filter bag flat on a table and measure across the width of the bag. For example: a 6” bag has flat width of 9.5”.
