We believe in repairing damaged gear before buying something new. For expert assistance, we offer repair services in our retail stores and Reno repair center but due to high volume and current safety protocols, it may take up to 20 weeks to complete your repair.
How good is Patagonia warranty?
We guarantee everything we make. If you are not satisfied with one of our products at the time you receive it, or if one of our products does not perform to your satisfaction, return it to the store you bought it from or to Patagonia for a repair, replacement or refund.
How do you fix a ripped windbreaker?
Bring the edges of the tear together. Squeeze a thin layer of urethane-based seam sealer on the fabric patch and on the torn area of the garment. Lay the patch firmly over the tear, smoothing it firmly from the centre out to remove any wrinkles or bubbles. Let your repair dry overnight.
How do you fix a polyester jacket?
There are two basic ways to repair or mend fabric holes for most household applications. You can use an iron-on patch designed for polyester fabric repair or you can overlay a polyester patch to the back of your fabric and machine stitch the two fabrics together. Both types of repair will extend the life of the fabric.

Can nylon be patched?
For every RIP, TEAR, WEAR and HOLE. RIP FIX (Repair All) nylon repair patches are designed for all of your fabric repair needs. The ultra-strong adhesive sticks extremely well.
How do you fix melted polyester?
Man-made fabrics, like polyester, pose a special heat risk when ironing. The shiny marks that can develop on polyester may indicate melted fibers, a problem that cannot be corrected. However, if the fibers have just been compressed, a chance exists that you can restore them with white vinegar or hydrogen peroxide.
Can you sew polyester jacket?
Polyester is best sewn with as fine of a needle as possible. Always use a fresh sharp or microtex needle, in about a size 8. Use small, narrow zig-zag stitches on the seam. Lay the pieces cross-grain rather than lengthwise.
