Does Kyrie 7 fit true to size?
The Kyrie 7 fits true-to-size, and I mean it’s so true-to-size is that you can get away with going up half a size up. Like previous iterations of the Kyrie signature line, the Kyrie 7 is a snug fit. Flaps that wrap around the footbed in the forefoot area have also been added for additional lockdown in that area.
Are kyries comfortable?
Comfort. Overall, the Kyrie 7 gets high marks for comfort. That’s mainly due to the Air Zoom units, which do a great job at providing both responsiveness and full impact protection. You’ll feel cushioned when both jumping and landing, and you won’t see any lasting discomfort in long games.

Are kyries heavy?
So many features without compensating with additional weight. Not many shoes with a sole that isn’t coupled (has two different soles, one for forefoot and one for heel) feel as light as the Kyrie 7 (weighs 12oz/340g).

Do Kyrie 7 loosen up?
I recommend going true to size in the Kyrie 7. I went with my standard size and had no issues. Kyries normally fit super tight and these are pretty tight with the initial try on, but after a short break-in period, they started to really loosen up for me.

Mix warm water with just a drop of laundry detergent (or, if leather, a specialty leather cleaner). Apply a small amount to a sponge or soft cloth to clean dirty areas of the shoe. Remove your insole and clean using a water/detergent mix. Rinse excess soap off of the shoe and insole using just water on a second sponge.

They have surprisingly good impact protection, with nice responsiveness and court feel. Basically the same cushion setup as the Kyrie 6. The Zoom Air is more subtle, but it still feels really good. For the third year in a row, there is a Zoom Turbo in the forefoot.

The sizing was a little tricky, but going up half a size for me was good. I wouldn’t recommend this shoe for wide footers, if you really want them I recommend trying them on for they’re pretty narrow.

It shouldn’t matter what type of footwork you have, the traction on the Kyrie 6 is everywhere, and should remain in contact with the ground no matter what. The rubber is a little soft for outdoor use, but if outdoor basketball is all you’re able to play then you’ll at least have great traction while it lasts.

The Kyrie 5 fits very snug but I went true to size and I’m glad I did. Some may want to go up 1/2 size, some may have to due to the Flytrap enclosure, but true to size is what I’d go with if possible.

Fit – The Nike Kyrie 3 fits true to size. Wide footers may find them to be a bit on the narrow side so going up 1/2 size may be required for some. The lockdown fit my feet perfectly from heel to forefoot. The throat of the shoe is simple, but extremely effective.

All in all it is decent feeling and looking so no complaints here. Midfoot support is there and it starts out pretty stiff but softens up over time without being overly flexible like a lot of newer shoes. Stability is fine even with the curved outsole.
