Does Uniqlo still do free alterations?
Currently, we do not. Alterations are only available in our physical stores. Unfortunately, you are unable to book an alteration online and have your jeans / trousers delivered to you in your desired size.
How do you fix a puffer jacket?
Down Jacket Repair: Quick Fixes. For field repairs, where you just need to patch a hole quickly, the classic solution is simply to stick some tape over the rip or tear. Duct tape or gaffer tape generally works well, as it sticks to most fabrics, and is an item that most climbers and hikers carry in case of emergency.
How do you fix a small hole in a down jacket?
Trim any loose threads or feathers. Peel off the backing on a Tenacious Tape Mini Patch or Gear Patch and apply it over the rip, tear, or hole. Patch should overlap tear by 0.5″ (12 mm) in all directions. Apply pressure from the center out.
Can you return altered UNIQLO pants?
Alterations must be picked up with a valid receipt or ID. Altered merchandise not claimed within 90 days of purchase will be discarded. UNIQLO assumes no responsibility for unclaimed merchandise. Alteration fees are non-refundable.

Can nylon be patched?
For every RIP, TEAR, WEAR and HOLE. RIP FIX (Repair All) nylon repair patches are designed for all of your fabric repair needs. The ultra-strong adhesive sticks extremely well.
Why am I getting holes in my t-shirts?
The most popular reason I have found for why we get such pinholes in our t-shirts is friction. The pinholes are usually caused by friction against the metal hardware on jeans. Your button, but also the rivets, zipper, and the tough knots of thread around the fly can wear against knit t-shirts.
What is eating holes in my clothes?
Damage to fabrics and materials is caused only by the moth larvae (grubs), the adult moths do not feed. The tiny white larvae eat holes through susceptible materials and damaged fabrics sometimes have silken cases or threads on their surface.
How do you fix ripped clothes without sewing?
Cut a thin piece of heat-activated hemming tape to the length of the tear. Position the tape along one side of the tear and overlap the other side of the tear over the tape. Set your clothes iron to a low setting without steam. Press the clothes iron to the tape area for about three to five seconds all along the tear.

Can you return things to UNIQLO without a receipt?
If you do not have your original receipt, we will allow customers to make a like for like exchange for the same item, or for the current value of the item, whichever is lower at the time of return. For example, you can change the size or the colour of an item.

What are lock stitch alterations?
What is a visible (lock) stitch? A standard method that uses single stitching on both the interior and exterior. Depending on the length hemmed, traces of removed stitching may remain. In addition, distressed items will lose the distressing on the part that is hemmed.
Does UNIQLO taper pants?
Our alterations service are available for (shorten only) selected UNIQLO bottoms only. This includes chinos and leggings pants. Please note that alteration for these bottoms will affect the tapered silhouette.
How long do UNIQLO alterations take?
How long do your alterations take? They can take 1 day for those requiring a blind stitch, and lock stitch can be done on the same day depending on how busy the store is. You will always be given a pick up time on your alterations slip.
How does UNIQLO scan their items?
After the customer selected the clothes of interest, they can put the clothes RFID tag on the RFID device of the shopping cart, and then the device will immediately display the product color, inventory status, and other sizes.
