I’d say RM are far more reliable than Hermes. I’ve had experience with a ton of carriers: Hermes, APG, Citylink (I think are now DX) DPD, UK Mail, DHL, Yodel, Parcelforce, Royal Mail. Hermes have been by far the worst.
