Can you return Jewellery?
Contact the jeweller straight away and report the problem. If you bought the jewellery locally, visit the jeweller. Take the item, the packaging (if possible) and any proof of purchase with you. If you cannot take the item back to the shop, either phone or write to the trader who will normally ask to inspect the item.
Can you return a ring after you buy it?
Most jewelers accept returned, unworn engagement rings for 30 days from the date of purchase. When you decide to return the ring, you should include the original ring documents. You need to include receipts, certificates, maintenance records, appraisals, and ring box with the engagement ring, itself.
Can you take earrings back to a shop?
DVDs, music and computer software: many retailers will not accept returns on these items if the seal or packaging has been broken. Earrings, make-up and toiletries: these items can’t be returned for hygiene reasons and this may be extended to items such as underwear and swimwear.
Can I exchange my engagement ring?
