If your return is free, you can take your item to any ParcelShop with a Print In ParcelShop device without booking online first. Simply select your retailer, enter your return information, print your label and hand the parcel to a member of store staff.

How do I return my online order?

Can Hermes collect a parcel?
You can book parcel collection up to 7 days in advance or as early as tomorrow. Just book before 10pm and a courier will collect your package the next day, between 8am and 8pm – you’ll receive a 2-hour time slot on the day.
How do I return an item?
Tell the clerk you want to return the item. Go to the returns department if there is one, or to a cashier. Smile and explain that you want to return an item and why. Remember to be friendly.

To arrange a return of these items, please contact us via our online form or you can speak to one of our Customer Service colleagues on 0345 165 6565. All refunds will be made back to the original tender type. For your protection, refunds to credit or debit cards will only be processed if the cardholder is present.

The parcel delivery company has changed its name to Evri and an innovative logo design uses ever-changing type permutations. The courier company previously known as Hermes has gone through a complete make-over at the hands of design studio Superunion and type foundry Monotype.

Courier giant Hermes has changed its name and invested millions of pounds in pensions for its employees, the company has announced. The rebranding of Hermes to Evri comes in the wake of allegations against the company of bad customer service, parcel mishandling and failing to pay its couriers appropriately.
Do I need to print label for Hermes?
Once you get in store, they have a tiny machine where you scan the QR block and press PRINT. It spits a label out you can stick straight on the package and someone will give you a receipt to take home, with a barcode on it that they zap after zapping the barcode on your package label, so they match.

Is my Hermes cheaper than Royal Mail?
Hermes. As a popular courier service, Hermes delivery costs are fairly straightforward and just like Royal Mail, they tend to be more cost-effective for businesses sending lighter weight packages. It’s worth noting that there is a 15kg and/or 1.2m parcel limit when using this courier service.
Does Hermes charge by size or weight?
We base our prices on your parcel’s weight, so please make sure you choose the right weight for your parcel: Postable parcels (letterbox-friendly & under 1kg) Under 1kg.
Do I have to pay postage to return goods bought online?
The retailer is normally responsible for the cost of any returns (as specified in the Consumer Contracts Regulations), but this depends on the terms and conditions of the retailer. However, you are not expected to pay for postage when returning faulty products (as explained above).
Are return labels free?

Besides wasting paper, including return labels in your packages costs nothing if your customers never use them.
What really happens when you return an online purchase?
The system varies from company to company, but typically a returned item may get shipped to a processing depot, where it is sorted and its condition assessed. From there, it may be sent back to the store or e-commerce warehouse to be restocked — or repaired and then sent back.
