The median time is about 21 hours of knitting. This sits right around the median knitting time for sweaters made out of my favorite yarn weights (DK: 24 hours, Worsted: 21 hours). However, I’ve also made one or two sweaters out of Fingering weight, which has an estimate of 32:20 hours.

How is raglan depth calculated?
Raglan Depth
Measure in the center back from 1″ below the neck bone to the underarm level. Add 1/2″ to 2″ depending on how snug you would like the sleeve to fit against your underarm. This measurement would be used for a set in sleeve sweater or a seamed raglan style sweater.
Can I knit raglan sleeves separately?

Why is it called raglan?

Why does raglan wear sleeves?
